If you have a spare room that could be used as a beauty salon, this is a great opportunity to turn the service level in your care home up a few notches. It’s also a great chance to have one to one conversations with residents to learn more about them.

Equipment needed

  • A quiet room
  • Facials, nail varnish, manicure kit
  • Foot spa
  • Refreshments
  • Appointment book

Instructions

  1. Take bookings during the week for treatments in the beauty salon.
  2. Provide facials, manicures, makeovers, foot spas and any other treatments you are able to provide.
